Tourist trails of Mazowsze 2.4.8

The mobile application Szlaki Mazowsza effectively aggregates information on all marked tourist trails within the Mazowsze region, along with nearby Points of Interest (POIs). It serves as a practical and user-friendly navigation tool, enabling users to explore the natural and cultural landscapes of Mazowsze.

Additionally, the same comprehensive network of trails and POIs can be accessed on their website at http://mazowsze.szlaki.pttk.pl/en. This feature allows users to plan their trips in advance and transfer their itineraries to the mobile application for seamless navigation.

Key features of the application include:

• Current location displayed across various map layers
• Trail route calculation and navigation capabilities
• Offline availability of trail maps, elevation data, and related information
• Comprehensive details about all trails and POIs
• Distance measurements to any specified POI, trail, or selected map point, including altitude above sea level
• Recording of trip routes
• Options to share location, recorded trips, and favorite trails or POIs
• Weather forecasts relevant to the user's location
• Ability to navigate using routes created on a desktop computer

The Polish Tourist and Sightseeing Society (PTTK) administers only the marked walking trails and does not oversee other types such as cycling or educational paths.

While PTTK endeavors to keep the application's trail data current, there may be occasional discrepancies between the mapped trails and actual conditions on the ground due to the extensive network of trails and ongoing maintenance needs. Users are encouraged to report any irregularities using the "Marking error?" feature within the app.
